Photo Review: Blitzen Trapper at Music Millennium, Tuesday, Sept. 23
Words by Nilina Mason Campbell. Photos by Nilina and Ben Johnson.
On the release day of its Sub Pop debut Furr, Blitzen Trapper performed an in-store set at Music Millennium on Burnside. After introducing Music Millennium owner Terry Currier—so that he could in turn introduce the group—things kicked off close to 7 pm. While you’ll be able to follow along with all the hooting and hollering that went down via these photos, other audio moments of note include a faux argument between crowd and band over whether yesterday was truly the first day of fall and if anyone gathered in the aisles of CDs below actually knew the definition of the word “equinox.”
