Freelance photographer Vivian Johnson (who generally prefers cavernous rock clubs to outdoor shows) headed out to Edgefield last week to see Spoon, the Presidents of the USA and…well not so much Nada Surf: “I was disappointed that Nada Surf ACTUALLY started at 6 pm, I was surprised by the amount of teens with plastic spoons attending the show [pictured below], found it humorous to watch white people dancing off-beat, and that the kids started a pit and made a couple body surfing attempts. Spoon sounded great up front but as soon as you got further back the reverb was way too much.” Still, good times. Photos follow.
