We Quit Releases Posthumous (Yeah, They Actually Quit!) Album
Portland math/noise/pop duo We Quit announced its disbandment early this m onth, and any hilarity and/or puns that may have come from said break-up was easily outweighed by sadness at losing a rad Portland band. But drummer Jessica Jones is headed to Memphis, the band says. Those wanting to own a piece of the We Quit dream, however, have one last chance. The explosive house show favorites’ debut-by-default full-length, cut with songs the band originally put together for tour EPs, is available in limited quantities direct from We Quit (it was also available at their last two shows in Portland and Seattle, so I guess it’s not TECHNICALLY posthumous. But I like that word so much…). Here’s the info on the disc and how to get it:
