LocalCut has done plenty of writing about Jumpoff TV’s World Rap Championships. But somehow we missed this, which Portland uber rap champ Illmaculate had the good humor to post on his MySpace page (takes a lot of good humor, really, because they paint Illmac as an extra-tiny baby on the edge of tears and The Saurus as a hyper-excitable man-child). It’s a Flash-made cartoon what-if featuring a WRC rap battle between the defending champs, Illmaculate and The Saurus, and the challengers, Mortal Kombat’s Scorpion and Sub-Zero.

The level of detail, satire and sheer genius that went into this thing is astounding. Illmac doesn’t really sound like that, but he does pace around and fuck with his hat like that, so the depressed kid voice is just an added bonus. Great Job!

And, on a totally different tip, this—a portrait of the artist (a YouTube user known as DepressedBeyondWurdz) as a young man. He’s obsessed with fighting video games and Boyz II Men:
