Porland Lounge Series XVII: Laura Gibson, Per Se, Meyercord—Free, Sunday!
It’s that time again! This Sunday, LocalCut, Portland Radio Authority, Blackbird Presents, Pabst Blue Ribbon and yours truly are offering up a free, rad and acoustastic (TM) evening of conversation and music from Ben Meyercord of AristeiA, Anne Adams of Per Se and the great Laura Gibson.
I’m biased, of course, but I think this is one of our best lineups ever. Gibson is about to embark on a big-ass tour, while Per Se is working on its long-awaited (seriously, is there any album-less artist more well-loved in Portland as Anne Adams?) debut record. Not sure what’s up with Ben Meyercord, exactly, but that’s why we do these things, and in any case, the kid is a talent. Put that on your web page, Ben: “The kid is a talent. –LocalCut.com”
So I’ll see you there, right? 9 pm at the Towne Lounge (714 SW 20th). Again, it’s free, though it is also 21+ (sorry, kids!).
