Blitzen Trapper Represent for PDX on Paper Thin Walls
Matt Wright hit me up with this link on Friday, and I reckon it’s past time that I got it to you. Portland outlaw Kinksian rockers Blitzen Trapper (who we reported last week were heading out on the road with the Hold Steady) were recently chosen as guest editors over on Paper Thin Walls, a website devoted to offering free mp3s rated by the site’s staff and guest editors like BT. The band’s choices represent some of LocalCut’s favorite Portland bands (including the super rad Starfucker track “German Love,” which I listened to like twelve times in a row when it was posted to his ’space, and still peep on a regular basis).
Alan Singley, Adrian Orange, Gulls, Pseudosix and the Shaky Hands also get track reviews (with the latter-est being mentioned as WW best new band winners). Way to represent, boys!
