Show Me the Pink Challenges Fans to Zoobomb Race!

pink Show Me the Pink is at it again! Last we heard they were making their national television debut!…on the Judge Mathis Show. And they’ve also graced the pages of a recent Vice magazine issue!…in the Fashion Don’t section? Relieving our bemusement, SMTP will be back in their natural habitat next Thursday, for a riotous night of P-town disco dance antics and new wave-y rock, as they take over the Ash St. Saloon with Catfight and Strength. Our northern neighbors, Bellingham babes the Trucks will also join the mix with their bike-tainted electro punk.

Prior to the show, you can see SMTP drummer Zach Archibald, speeding down Washington Park toward the saloon, that is if you can catch him. Hosting a Zoobomb bike race, Archibald promises free admission to whoever can beat him to the finish line (courtesy of SMTP’s winnings on Judge Mathis). That’s six bucks saved for other squanderings of the evening! That’s like three more Pabsts, or two more Miller High Lifes or a tall glass of Maker’s Mark! You get the idea. But regardless of the opportunity to save up your pocket change, this night wreaks gloriously of our lovely local bike infused music scene, so free admission or not, It’s worth making the trip.

This all goes down at 9 pm, but be sure to head up to Washington park by 8:30 (take the MAX) if you want a chance at racing Archibald to the show!
